David Sutton    
David has worked in the area of Educational ICT for 25 years, working in all phases of education. As a Consultant he has been a key contributor to the design process of many new school buildings, with particular responsibility for the specification, procurement and installation of ICT equipment and infrastructure.

He has overseen all of EdICTs' BSF and Academy programmes – totalling more than 30 major school capital build projects to date. As an LA advisor, David advised schools on procurement processes and helped manage a procurement service for schools – both primary and secondary.
He also represented the LA in negotiations with PFI contractors for the ICT services in new schools. He began his career as a class teacher. He has occupied his current position for 7 years.

David is the lead consultant for the DCSF / Becta Building Schools for the Future & City Academies programmes. He is personally currently supporting Mossbourne, The Bridge, The Harris, St Paul's, Harefield, Langley and Aylwin Academies. He has had overall responsibility for more than 30 school capital build programmes to date, including more than 20 academies and 8 BSF programmes.
